Our Staff

Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, David surrendered to ministry from a career in Information Technology almost 30 years ago. He then moved to Louisiana to earn a Master of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

David returned to South Carolina in 1995 to serve as the Youth Pastor here at Ebenezer. He continued his education at this time through Erskine Theological Seminary, where he earned a Doctor of Ministry. He has served as our Senior Pastor since 2001. 

He is married to Diana and enjoys spending as much time as possible with his kids and grandchildren. 

Born and raised in Florence, South Carolina, Matthew grew up in a Christian family right here at Ebenezer Baptist Church. He served on staff in various positions while in seminary and has been at Ebenezer as a full-time pastor since 2022.  

Matthew’s credentials include a BS in Business Administration & Management from Presbyterian College and a Master of Divinity in Worship Leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

When he is not serving at Ebenezer, Matthew enjoys running, surfing, playing music, and being a dog-dad to a sweet pup named Sage.

Originally from Florence, South Carolina, Nathan has served churches in both Lancaster and Spartanburg, South Carolina, as well as Fort Worth, Texas. 

After graduating in 1998 with a degree in music from Anderson University, he earned a Master’s degree in Christian Education and a Master’s degree in Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2002. Nathan and his family returned to Florence in 2013, when he joined the Ebenezer family as our Youth Pastor. 

Nathan is married to his high school sweetheart and lifelong ministry partner, Ashley Ellis. He enjoys playing music, participating in the Florence F3 men’s group, and working on home improvement projects.

Andi grew up in Pageland, South Carolina, and accepted Jesus at 9 years old. She graduated from Columbia College with a BA in Music Education. She then went on to receive a Master’s degree in Music Education from the University of South Carolina.

Andi is married to Wayne Hill and they have two adult sons, Blake and Louis. She enjoys traveling with family, gardening, reading, needlepoint, and cheering for the Gamecocks. And of course, music, music, music! 

Marcia was born and raised in Darlington, South Carolina, and attended Francis Marion University. In 2013, she began serving at Ebenezer as our Ministry Assistant. Several years later, Marcia is now joyfully fulfilling the role of Ministry Resource Coordinator.

Marcia enjoys watching Hallmark movies, listening to country music, drinking Chick-Fil-A sweet tea, and spending quality time with her two children, Molly and Luke. 

Born and raised in Florence, South Carolina, Melinda first accepted Christ when she was 10 years old. 

Melinda joined the Ebenezer family as our Ministry Assistant in 2014. She previously attended West Florence High School and Florence Darlington Technical College. 

Married to Greg Miller, Melinda enjoys spending time with her family, supporting them, and watching them grow. She especially loves being the hands and feet of Ebenezer as we advance the kingdom of God.

Born in Midwest City, Oklahoma, Michele moved to Charleston, South Carolina, as a child. She was raised in a strong Christian family and began a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as a teenager. 

Michele attended Presbyterian College, where she studied Early Childhood Education. She now serves as our Daycare Director.

Michele is married to Jeff Driggers, and they have 3 adult children and a sweet pup named Drake. She loves music and is an active member of her home church, where enjoys serving on the praise team. 

Originally from Florence, South Carolina, Mollye first met Jesus when she was in the sixth grade and later rededicated her life to him again. She is an alumna of Wilson High School, and worked in childcare prior to joining Ebenezer Daycare. Mollye is married to Terry Watford and together they have 5 children.
